Bookish Fairy Club is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the joy of reading, connection, and community to children, teens, and adults. Through free literacy boxes, virtual book clubs, community events, and outreach programs, we help make books and bookish experiences accessible to everyone.
Every donation, purchase, and act of support helps us continue gifting stories, creating friendships, and spreading a lifelong love for reading.
BFC Programs
At Bookish Fairy Club, our programs are created to inspire a love of reading, build meaningful connections, and make books accessible to readers of all ages. Through free literacy boxes, virtual book clubs, classroom support, and community events, we bring the joy of stories beyond the pages.
Children’s Literacy Boxes
Our Children’s Literacy Boxes are created to bring the joy and excitement of reading directly to children and families. Each box is thoughtfully packed with a free age-appropriate book, fun activities, reading materials, and bookish surprises to help inspire creativity, imagination, and a lifelong love for stories.
Teen Virtual Reads
A free program created to help teens discover new books, build confidence, and connect with other young readers. Participants receive a free book, reading journal, and bookish goodies delivered to them, then come together for a fun virtual discussion and activities.
Adult Virtual Programs
Our Adult Virtual Reads bring book lovers together through stories, conversations, and connection. Participants receive a free book and join a virtual Zoom discussion with fellow readers to share thoughts and build friendships. Some sessions even feature special guest authors for a unique behind-the-scenes book experience.
Booksgiving for Classrooms
Booksgiving for Classrooms helps spread the magic of reading to students and teachers across the country. Each quarter, Bookish Fairy Club selects classrooms nationwide to receive free books and literacy resources that allow students to take home books of their own and begin building their personal home libraries.
Community Events
Bookish Fairy Club brings readers and families together through fun, meaningful community events throughout the year. From cozy Silent Reads and bookish gatherings to our special celebrations like Month of the Military Child, our annual Halloween events, and Christmas programs, we create opportunities for connection, creativity, and a shared love of reading.
Our events are designed to build friendships, support families, and remind our community that books have the power to bring people together.
